The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations & Finance to oversee operational efficiency, financial stability, and regulatory compliance. This is a unique opportunity to build and refine the operational framework of a newly established foundation, ensuring long-term sustainability and high-impact programs.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape financial strategies, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure transparency in all aspects of the Foundation’s work. Your expertise will be critical to the success of our initiatives, driving efficiency and ensuring we maximize our impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the Foundation’s daily operations, spanning finance, legal, tax, HR, and staffing. Lead the selection and implementation of technology platforms to streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and support program execution.
• Financial Management: Manage the Foundation’s budget and expenditures, ensuring full transparency and accountability. Oversee financial reporting, audits, and compliance, adhering to all regulatory requirements. Develop and implement financial policies and controls to maintain fiscal integrity.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed financial and operational reports for leadership and the board, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making. Conduct financial analysis to optimize resource allocation and drive sustainable investments.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Foundation’s leadership team to develop and implement long-term strategic initiatives, identifying operational and financial improvements that enhance efficiency.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, implementing robust risk management strategies to ensure sustainability.
Your profile :
Who We’re Looking For:We seek an experienced, results-driven professional with a strong track record in operational and financial leadership within mission-driven organizations. The ideal candidate will possess:
• Proven Expertise: 7–10 years of experience in partnership development, program management, or a similar role within a nonprofit, foundation, or comparable organization. (A degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field is an advantage.)
• Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of financial management and reporting processes, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Proficiency in financial management software and other relevant technology.
• Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills: A team-oriented mindset, fostering cooperation and building strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex operational and financial challenges.
• Integrity & Mission Alignment: Commitment to upholding ethical standards and advancing the Foundation’s vision for transformative social change.
• Project & Organizational Skills: Ability to support project execution and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
