The Product Strategy and Innovation division is responsible for the overall management of products and services at Euroclear Group level. Its main objective is to identify gaps and opportunities to continuously improve Euroclear Group's products range in line with Euroclear strategy, with the markets’ evolutions and the opportunities brought by new technologies.

The “PSI” teams develop a growth strategy with the Commercial division and identify gaps and opportunities to continuously improve Euroclear's offering. Together with Euroclear entities, PSI Managing Directors are responsible for defining the strategy around the core products & services of the group as well as the ancillary services leveraging Euroclear’s data. They are accountable for the P&L of their product line.

The Job / Responsibilities :

YOUR ROLE:

 As “Product Director Europe” your role is to:
• develop a product strategy for the European CSDs
• manage the ‘go to market’ of our product initiatives
• ensure the competitiveness, the profitability and the compliance of your range of products

Your business responsibilities will cover all products and services related to:

• The issuance of equities, fixed income and funds instruments in Europe
• The ‘go to market’ of Euroclear core products in the European markets
In your capacity of Product Director Europe, your goal will be to maximize the Euroclear business development in all European markets. On a daily basis, you will liaise with your commercial colleagues and Euroclear entities to further grow the revenue of your market segments. Your proximity with Operations and IT , and more generally all support functions, allows your teams to meet their business objectives, while keeping the costs under control. The role requires leadership both internally and externally as you ultimately own the P&L of your product line.

Your profile :

PROFILE:  
• You have a long experience in the financial industry, of which a significant experience as Executive Director in an international environment
• You have good knowledge of the capital market players’ requirements as well as good understanding of the role of a Financial Market Infrastructure in the space of Custody, Settlement and Asset Servicing
• You have developed interest for Geo-politics & Economics
• You are able to build solid business cases and engage with the Executive Committee of the group
• Strategic thinker, analytical and result oriented, you also show strong business acumen and client-focus
• Inter-personal skills and political sense
• Engaging and empowering leader (demonstrated leadership in leading multicultural teams and matrix organisations)
